I’ve trying to cut back on caffeine and alcohol, but I don’t enjoy drinking plain water. So this “spa water” is nice to have around; it’s just water that’s been infused with herbs and other refreshing things.
I made mine with sparkling mineral water, cucumber and lemon slices, and fresh mint. I think rosemary, basil, grapefruit, and gingerroot would be nice additions as well. You could use plain seltzer instead of mineral water, or even regular non-sparkling water.

I understand the caffine part but Booze too?
I think I’ll try the spa water for myself…..what about tonic water?

You are so clever! Infusing WATER?!?! I never would have thought of that. I wonder if rosemary would be good …

I must admit… when I first looked at the pics, and didn’t read the heading, I thought this was a Mojito. Hehe.. excuse me, I had Sit N Knit in a bar with my knitting group yesterday. But actually, this is a good way to cut back. I am going to try it. Also, I would like to suggest coconut water as well. It is very nutritious and helps to prevent dehydration because it is packed with electrolytes. I think of it as a natural form of gatorade. hehe!!
